Marine Construction Safety Compliance in Florida
The Marina Masters takes a proactive approach toward promoting a healthy atmosphere and an injury-free workplace. We understand that safe practices benefit not only our employees, but our clients and subcontractors as well.
Health and safety are a primary concern at our project sites, our construction yards, our shops, and in our offices. As a result, all of our practices at The Marina Masters comply with OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and DOT requirements. This is because we understand the Adatech Marine’s significance of keeping our employees current with the latest safety practices, and keeping our clients up-to-date on our safety policies as a company.
We recognize that taking additional steps toward health and safety assurance is necessary on the administrative level if we expect exceptional safety practices among our workers. That is why we deem it beneficial to provide monetary incentives to our safe workers. Our workers are presented with an array of opportunities to earn financial rewards for safe practices. These include bonuses for attending additional online safety and training programs, as well as elevated base pay for varying lengths of incident-free employment.
Although our safety initiative is driven by senior management and project managers, all project team members, including subcontractors, are made active participants. This is achieved, in part, by creating a “Job Safety Plan.” Thus, job tasks are identified and broken down, analyzed for hazards, and problem areas are mitigated.
Our plans are created in a collaborative process with managers and workers. Operations are modified to remove hazards wherever possible, and thoroughly mitigated when they are not. Our process of education and observation by managers and workers is created to achieve a self-correction mindset in the endeavor to establish a worksite that is free of incidents.
Environmental protection is another top priority for The Marina Masters. That is why we work so closely with our allies who specialize in environmental assessment and mitigation. We understand that the balance between progress and conservation is delicate, but it is also crucial to uphold.
